Perched high above the Boston skyline, this pied-à-terre was designed as a stylish retreat with an emphasis on comfort and sophistication. Our work encompassed the living room, dining room, primary bathroom, and powder room, blending modern and transitional styles to create a timeless yet contemporary atmosphere. A young couple that relocated to Boston were eager to transform their duplex into a cozy and luxurious haven, to ease some pressure on their hectic lives. We worked together to balance their distinctive tastes - a blend of modern elegance from Singapore and rich traditions from South Carolina.

We wanted to bring the sense of luxury into the home, to make it feel like a space where the young couple could relax once the work day had finished. We chose luxurious textures and carefully selected materials and products to create an ambiance that evoked comfort and tranquility. Boston, MA

These bathrooms were transformed from a dated dark 1950’s design, to more modern and updated bright spaces. The client wanted to keep the windows behind the vanity in the primary without altering the size of the opening. So we replaced the window with a large non-functioning single window, and floated pivot mirrors Infront of them – for function and help make the room feel taller. We layered in bold geometric tile, with clean large format wall tiles, paired with a custom walnut wall-hung vanity. The shower was moved creating a large spa-like experience, and had a custom mitered shower curb made, from Cumar, to look like it was cut from one piece of stone. A relaxing soaking tub was added, with satin brass fixtures, and sculptural light fixture above. Belmont, MA.
